The Pony Girls league represents our highest level of youth softball, focusing on competitive excellence, refined skill sets, and high-level teamwork to prepare athletes for senior play.
Game Duration
Regulation games consist of seven full innings. No new inning will commence after 1 hour and 45 minutes of scheduled play time.
Batting Order
All players present are included in a continuous batting roster. This ensures every athlete participates in the offensive phase of the game.
Pitching Standards
Pitchers follow standard fastpitch regulations. A single pitcher may throw a maximum of 10 innings per week to prioritize recovery.
Field Rotation
Free defensive substitution is allowed. However, every player must play a minimum of two defensive innings in the field per game.
Base Running
Runners are allowed to lead off and steal bases. Stealing is permitted once the ball is released from the pitcher's hand during delivery.
Equipment Safety
Batting helmets with face masks and infield protective masks are required. All equipment must meet current league safety certifications.
